Bio

Monica is a senior transfer first-generation college student from Oxnard, CA. She received an AA in Sociology from Ventura College. She is passionate about making higher education accessible for first-generation, low-income, marginalized students. She also interested in pursuing a teaching career in bilingual education at the elementary school level. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies and finding new coffee shops to give all of her money to.
