Advice for New Transfers: Don’t compare your own experiences to your peers; know that we all move on our own trajectories in life, and it’s okay to feel lost or behind sometimes. At times, school can be a daunting and unfamiliar place, but trust that you’ll find your way and don’t forget to take care of yourself in the process. Self-care isn’t only taking walks on the beach or lighting a candle, self-care is also immersing yourself into new opportunities and going out of your comfort zone in order to grow. Enjoy your time at UCSB and exploring a new place!
