Erendira is a first-generation transfer student from East Los Angeles College. She is a fourth-year Chicanx Studies major pursuing a career in academic counseling and hopes to work with underrepresented students to help make higher education more accessible for first-generation, income-eligible, marginalized students. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies with her friends, going to campus events, and exploring Santa Barbara.
