With her degree, she will be applying to the Doctorate of Audiology Program at San Jose State University. Before transferring to UCSB, Elaine worked for Madera Community College in the Outreach and College Relations Department. During her time working at MCC, she mentored students and facilitated the matriculation process. When she is not busy, Elaine spends the majority of her free time with friends and family. She also enjoys rollerblading, swimming, and sleeping! Now, a TSC Lead Peer Educator, Elaine hopes to continue helping students of any age and background feel safe and welcomed here at UCSB.

Advice for Transfers: Get an early start on learning the bike paths, bus routes, and on-campus resources. Never be afraid to meet new people and join a club, or an organization. And as always, reach out to the TSC whenever you need help or advice!
