Advice for New Transfers: It's important to step out of your comfort zone! Try to get involved in school and use the many resources it has to offer. Making the transition to UCSB can be intimidating in the beginning but once you begin to get comfortable, explore and ask questions about all of the opportunities you have access to. You only have so much time here as a transfer student, so take advantage! Make this experience your own.
