Brenda is a first-generation Puentista transfer student from Chabot College in the Bay Area. She loves to meet new people, eat, adventure, listen to music, hang out with dogs, sip on tea and be a resource to her fellow peers. Brenda would like to pursue a career in Education.

Advice for new transfers: This is an exiting new chapter in your life and there can be bumps along the way. They are not to scare you but to make you stronger. So cherish every moment here at UCSB by making the best of it and steeping out of your comfort. UCSB has so much to offer, from academics, resources and adventures, so take advantage of it all! Just remember, you are not alone!
