Transfer Pre-Health Association
-
Mission Statement:
This program is designed specifically for transfer students aspiring to have a career in the health field. We aim to quickly integrate transfer students into UCSB while also showing them the many opportunities and resources available to them at this school as pre-health students. We also want to create a sense of community around transfer students so that they can support each other. We understand that transfers only have a limited time at the university, so we aim to quickly put transfers in a position where they can make an impact in our community.
Opportunities/Perks of Joining:
A genuine sense of community consisting of like-minded pre-health transfer students, advice on obtaining experience such as academic research or volunteer work, general support from transfer students who have already acclimated to UCSB, and occasional professional guest speakers/panels
