Jami Chavez has a BA in Sociology from UCSB and a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Cal Lutheran University. She has worked at UCSB for over 16 years in various departments, including the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and now in the College of Letters & Science Academic Advising office. In addition to working with transfer students in the TSC, she also works closely with non-traditional and veteran students. When not at work, Jami enjoys spending time and camping with her husband and three children.
